Hi, It looks like a great show, I just want to say that the real "Showtime Show Clothing" is set up for the first time at this show. We have been represented at the show in the past and have great response. The only reason I write on this, is to announce, Showtime Show Clothing, has changed and now only does one of a kind show apparel. We do all price ranges, all sizes, all things one of a kind. Stop by our trailer at the March Mania and see the new things.

I am trying gather information on grants so my wife and myself can get involved with the rescue of horses in the state of Alabama. We currently have 19 acres in Blount Co. in which we would like to use as a place of refuge for needy horses. We also want to able the horses as education to people in the area in riding and caring of such beautiful creatures. We are members of the Cowboy Church of Marshall Co.and would like to start one in blount co. to bring peope closer to God.Horses are Gods creation and should be treated as such.Any information on this matter would be deeply appreciated. Thank you again in your efforts.

Unfortunately, romantic as they may be, "wild" horses are not native to North America. Technically, they were introduced by Spanish explorers. Yes, the costs for maintaining them are prohibitive and yes, they do compete directly with actual native species for food and water.

The NRA fights strenuously each year to maintain the right to hunt and kill so many native species. Much of the argument for hunting is to control populations. As the wild horse population continues to grow and more and more domesticated horses are abandoned, when will the NRA begin to look at hunting wild horses as a sport? Romantic thoughts aside, do you think this is a fair idea?
