Update on NRHA Founder Dale Wilkinson’s Condition

After undergoing surgery to repair a shattered hip, which was sustained on Feb. 22, Dale Wilkinson, 84, is reported to be steadily improving.

Wilkinson was one of the original founders of the National Reining Horse Association and was the first person to be inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 1986. He is also the only rider to have ever won both NRHA and NCHA futurities.
