Heather Smith Thomas has revised her  2006 version of Understanding Equine Hoof Care to create a new reference guide for the horse owner.

The book covers topics like hoof cleaning and trimming, shoeing and common hoof problems.  Thomas has also added new material about hoof maintenance and  diagnosis of common hoof problems.
