The Danville, Kentucky-based Advocate-Messenger reported this past Sunday that a 43-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication after riding his horse to church. Apparently the problem was not his mode of transportation, but the fact that he brought a holstered gun and a rifle along for the ride.
An armed Donald Howard Goode walked into the morning service at Ellisburg Baptist Church shortly after riding to church because he had a grievance with another church member.
The pastor’s wife and other members of the congregation were able to convince him to give up his guns.
